I come from England but teach English to poor kids from Burma who fleed to Thailand. It really has its moments at times!! I have what I call the pre-class 20 minute 'dread'. Afterwards I'm either elated or berating myself for not doing better. I think the point is that at least they're learning something sometimes!  They're much more motivated than the British kids and French kids I've taught before. I have a lot of repect for you!!&lt;br&gt;
